At the end of 2010 the company installed and started up a new hybrid production line for self-adhesive labels with combined offset/flexographic technology. The working width of this equipment is 370 mm with 10 print units; the cutting unit features an adjustable counter-force cylinder and allows labels to be delivered in rolls or sheets. Cold stamped and relief impressions can be applied on the labels and the machine features two-colour printing for adhesives, lamination and the ability to make multiple passes through the machine. In the near future this line will see the addition of new accessories as well. The machine is equipped with servo motors and high definition cameras to monitor every operation. This patented solution ensures extreme precision and stability on a wide range of papers and foils. All print parameter settings for top quality label production can be saved to the machine’s memory and applied during repeated production, thereby speeding up and shortening set up times by more than half.
One new production option is the more and more common use of multi-layer labels that resolve the issue of language versions for producers who deliver goods to multiple countries.
By starting this lime, the company gained the ability to expand into more demanding markets where the quality, reliability and speed of deliveries are given top priority.
